Welcome to Learning Guide Styler

The Learning Guide Styler is a relatively lightweight script that will reformat Blackboard content pages in the users web browser.

It is an opt-in system for academics to develop their content, requiring a unique Blackboard Item to be added on each page to activate the restyling function.

Danger

This system is still in development and testing, and as such, design, features and functionality may change unexpectedly.

Warning

The styling functionality is only available when viewed using a modern web browser. It may fail in older browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer). With this in mind, content should be written and structured to take into account that it may be viewed on a device that is unable to perform the restyling.

For example, the Blackboard Mobile App will display content as a standard items.
